Rick and I turned up bright and early to avoid traffic and managed to see the Ghetty Centre before it became packed with tourists. The Ghetty Centre is made up of a number of sections including modern art, European art, temporary exhibitions and sculptures. There are art works from all over the world, giving you a glimpse of the past and the present.
We enjoyed wandering through rooms full of Royal European art, porcelain and furnishings. We loved the romantic feel of the flora and foliage within the lush gardens and the interesting statues that lined the square. The museum houses art that is as magnificent, if not more, than some of the best European museums that I have seen to date. If you enjoyed The Louvre in Paris and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, then you will surely enjoy the Ghetty Centre!
